Poor Self Image as a Limiting Factor on Wealth Accumulations
Many people avoid the road to success and great wealth and riches basically because of poor self image. Its all for your best interest – yet few people really the necessary self introspection needed to take stock of what they are selling , and have the courage next to go ahead with the necessary improvements and pruning to “remove deadwood” , improve their self image and internatilizations and get on with their lives and the accumulation and growth of the nest eggs.
I saw this in my partner Bill Piker. I saw it in myself – shirking from bills , trying to intimidate others for my own success ( or so I thought).
I remember trying to intimidate one young fellow , who out of the goodness of his heart , had tried to help with a business I was working to develop. This fellow in the end loant me computer equipment , did free tech calls on the drop of a hat, and in essence was just trying to be helpful.
Rather than being grateful , I intimidated and goaded him for even more. This was without payment or even promise of payment.
Did I know or appreciate that commercial firms would charge for each of these support calls , when I called basically because the plug was pulled out of the machine ? No I would bellow – “I could of gone to Mind Computers”
In the end the firm ran out of cash and closed. My greed and ultimate stupidity led me to this . Instead of being grateful , being a man of morals and a person of his or her word , I fell victim to my own lack of morals and ultimately poor self image.
There is a saying -” What comes around goes around”. I hope to pay back this fine fellow one day in the future.
