Your Mind is Not You
It can be said and never overemphasized that you are not your mind. Simple as that. You are a million times greater and more powerful than your mind , and your mind alone. Simple as that. It can be said that your mind is a part as you – no different than your foot and hand. It can be said that “if the head did not matter , why is it attached to the body”. True. But you should lead your life and your decisions – not your head and your subconscious thoughts. Such is the road to wealth , power and riches.
One differing and novel way to look at this whole equation is to ask yourself – What if you had a hand that was just like your mind ? It was scattered all over the place , over hill and dale , it was always beating g you up and causing even great trouble as well as eventual heartache. On top of that that hand was always tormenting you and calling you names – horrible , terrible even mean.
What would you do with such a hand – an appendage that could be useful but in this case was a hindrance – even a curse. Most people would say “Cut if off” or even anesthetize it. But the hand is a most powerful and useful tool, why would you cut it off ? The real answer of course is you would want to control it . to manage it, and train it to work with you as opposed to you. Go with the flow.
Training and managing your own min d is the most important skill that you could ever develop in terms of happiness , wealth and the road to riches , power and wealth.
