Shatter the Illusions of the Creation of Wealth
First - always keep your eye on the puck or baseball. In the end its not about cash , cars, or even wealth. It is about Power- "The Power to do what you want to do".
You only go around life once. Why spend your lifetime pursuing and building someone else's dream and dreams. On top of that paying high charge card interest rates to do that.
The problem that most people encounter is that they see wealth in physical terms. This can be actual cash money , gold or other valuables, It can be apparent physical wealth - be it cars m trips or houses.
Presentation and appearances can be deceiving. What you think of as apparent wealth may only be "paper" or the "banks money". Sure it can be said that inflation may increase the value of the asset and so and so made so many dollars. Not unlike the story of Farmer Brown who "made $ 300 dollars " from the increase of value of a condo yet lost his wife and marriage in the process . Farmer Brown is now living happily , or most likely with cash , but not happy , in an apartment.
On top of that these people in the :"Rat Race" , can not only never be happy , but even jealous of others. It is best to be not in the race, yet living the life and dreams of your choice, not of others. Wealth and riches are great and wonderful, In the end not only does it come down to quality of life , but more importantly living your life and your life as well as your families live dreams.
